Description

The All-Night Vigil is an a cappella choral composition by Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943), his Op. 37, premiered in 1915 in Moscow. Texts taken from the Russian Orthodox All-night vigil ceremony.
From this choral work the piece Ave Maria is arranged for three clarinets and bass-clarinet. Optionally, the 4th voice can also be played by a regular Bb-clarinet. Fantastic sound world.
