The Jolly Ogre

Description

Not all Ogres are bad. This one is a jolly chap, just strolling along, taking in the summer air. Listen carefully and you can hear him picking some flowers for his home (Fig. D). This quirky piece, with its plodding bass line and its chromatically shifting harmonies, will suit any part of your concert programme.
