François Anatole Laurent de RillĂ© (24 November 1828 – 26 August 1915) was a French composer, writer, and musical theorist. He was associated with the “OrphĂ©onist” movement, which aimed to promote music among the popular classes by establishing male choir associations. De RillĂ© composed numerous operettas and sacred music works, but he is best known for his contributions to choral music.
