Description

Downtown is a fun piece for those want to experiment a bit more into the 12 bar/jazz style! It is in concert G major and It is a through-composed so there is not a middle as such. However there are 2 distict sections where there are tacet bars in the piano to create variety.

The piece should be thought of more in terms of a duet as the piano has a decent amount of material. Extra improvisations could be put in over the “12 bar” sections if desired, but the whole piece should be just fun and let off steam!!
On the youtube link there is the full score for you to assess suitability. I have put to intermediate level (higher end). The Score is 10 pages, sax 3, piano 6. Nearly 4 minutes long.

Great for concerts, showpiece, weddings, various events etc or just something different for the repertoire.

Price is for the full score and parts.
