Description

Scored for Flute, Clarinet, Bassoon and Piano, El Beso is an historic and famous dance hall ( Milonga) in Buenos Aires Argentina known for it’s traditional and intimate atmosphere.

There are different types of Tango- Finnish, Nuevo, Ballroom, Salon etc, but El Beso focuses on traditional Tango’s having a different theme every day of the week. Additionally it is the only place in the world open 365 days a year from afternoon to late at night to dance a Tango!

Written in concert D minor, I have tried to capture the essence of El Beso in this Tango from it’s syncopated rhythms to lyrical moments as well as a calming of the mood in the middle. I have set it to intermediate level but the whole score is on the youtube link for you to assess suitability.

The full score is 9 pages, Instrumental parts are 3, Piano 6.

It is 4 minutes in length- great addition to a repertoire!

Price is for the Full Score and all Parts.
