Noël pour le temps de l’Avent – Alexandre Guilmant | Double-Reed Quintet Arrangement

Discover my arrangement of Noël pour le temps de l’Avent by French composer Alexandre Guilmant, adapted for double-reed quintet. This arrangement brings Guilmant’s evocative Advent music to a distinctive chamber ensemble of two oboes, English horn (cor anglais), and two bassoons.

Ideal for woodwind chamber music performances, Advent concerts, Christmas recitals, and seasonal church services, this arrangement offers a unique opportunity for double-reed players to explore a beautiful work from the French organ repertoire in a new ensemble setting.

Instrumentation: 2 oboes, English horn (cor anglais), and 2 bassoons
