Description
Throughout my life, cats have always been a source of joy and love. Our cat, Callie, grew up with me into middle school, but I unfortunately remember little of her, aside from that joy and love. I’m dedicating this piece to the cats in my adult life since I met my wife, Becky. They each have a special place in my heart, and this piece is a tribute to them. The first movement describes the pain I felt when losing Cuddles and Chloe. The second movement describes the joy, love, and playfulness they all bring while on this Earth. The piece is also meant to be somewhat educational in nature and is a great tool for an intermediate player to learn expressiveness and somewhat more advanced techniques of music-making.
