This arrangement of “Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus” for unaccompanied violin solo would be a lovely addition to a Christmas or Advent service or other holiday event. The tune is common to several other well known hymns such as “Hallelujah, What a Savior”, “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling” and “I Will Sing the Wondrous Story”.
