From Purcell’s opera, Dido and Aeneas, Dido’s Lament arranged for Clarinet Quartet (3 Clarinets in B flat and Bass Clarinet in B flat). This arrangement, with it’s ground bass and simple melodies is ideal for the the beginner/early intermediate ensemble.
