Description
Mysterium evokes a sense of mystery and curiosity. This solo piano work, a nocturne, is in the key of A minor and C major, with colorful chords adding variety at certain points. Using an arpeggiated triplet pattern in the left hand, the music has a constant motion until the very last measure. The right-hand leads with the melody in contrast with the harmonic foundation in the left hand. The meter is 2/4 throughout and the duration is approximately 3 minutes and 45 seconds.
