Description
Reminiscing is a solo piano piece to represent reflections and thoughts. It paints the story of love, and lost love, travels, friends, heartbreak, but also happiness and contentment.
It is essentially a romantic style in nature, fused with film music harmonies. It is in ternary form with the opening sections in B minor and D major- expanding the material into C flat and E flat major in the middle. After a short link, the main them returns in a slightly heavier texture before climaxing this theme in E flat major. The piece ends with an ornamented version of the intro in C minor. I have put it at Intermediate although it is top end but the youtube link has the full score for you to judge.
