5 Jazz Trios is a fun, flexible and original collection of Trios written in a Jazz style by David McKeown for Strings. The pdf file contains the scores, separate parts for Violin, Viola and Cello, and also alternative parts for additional Violin and Viola.There are chord symbols on the scores for additional accompaniment on piano, bass or guitar.
5 Jazz Trios are suitable for players at an intermediate level and above. The key and range are accessible and there are some simple syncopated rhythms and accidentals. With a total playing-time of around ten minutes, 5 Jazz Trios are a perfect upbeat source for any performance program, formal or informal.
