Description
For this unique arrangement I have selected three verses from John Newton’s text Amazing Grace and set them to the familiar tune New Britain. The choir sing the first and second verses and are joined by the bugle (trumpet or cornet) for the third and final verse. The unique combination of these two powerful tunes in the final verse is compelling. (See also my brass quintet arrangement of America The Beautiful with solo bugle playing Taps).
