Description

You may have learned “Are You Sleeping?” as a young child,
or maybe you learned the original French version, “Frère Jacques.” Both versions
are about brother John/Jacques, who has overslept and needs to get up. In this
Latin American twist on the song, it’s brother Diego who needs to get out of
bed and get a move on. “¡Despierta!” is Spanish for “Wake up!” 4 pages.
Performance time: approximately 2:20. Included in the “Piano Remixes: Kid Songs Vol. 1” early intermediate songbook.
