Description

This timeless piece from 1910 is a winner for Weddings or Anniversaries with a memorable sing-along refrain. Recorded by various artists from The Peerless Quartet (1911) to Bing Crosby and Fats Domino.  Featured in numerous films and TV shows including Downton Abbey and The Murdoch Mysteries (The Artful Detective).  An intermediate level piano accompaniment with chords for guitar or mallet instruments to join in.  In the 2-part Choir arrangement, both parts are written in the treble clef.  Sung an octave lower, the range of Part 2 is appropriate for Baritones/Basses (or Altos, as written).  Arranger’s reflections included.
