Description

Tthis well-known piece by Mendelssohn is
great to add a dramatic accent to a concert at any time of year. This
music appears in Mendelssohn’s Songs Without Words Op. 62 and should not
be confused with the much larger, but no less grand Op. 103.

I have placed it in the Advanced category because of the range of dynamics
and the need to play super quiet but high in Part 1 at the ending.

Parts supplied are as follows:
Part 1 in Bb/C (Treble) (Trumpet/Cornet/Clarinet/Violin)
Part 2 in Bb/Eb/C(Alto) (Trumpet/Cornet/Clarinet/Horn/Viola)
Part 3 in F/Eb (Horn)
Part 4 in C/Bb (Trombone/Baritone/Euphonium/Cello)
Part 5 in C/Bb/Eb (Trombone/Euphonium/Tuba/Eb Bass/Cello)
Part 6in C/Eb/Bb (Tuba/Eb Bass/Bb Bass/Contrabass)

Parts in C are in Bass clef. Parts in F do not use key signatures.
