This original composition for Orchestra has bars of both a repeating accompaniment of two sets of quavers followed by two sets of triplet quavers with a sustained bass line. The melody has a simple triumphant quality which builds with various countermelodies – especially in the Horns and the Trombones, with each restatement. There are optional simplified parts for Clarinet 3 and 4, and Violin 2b and Viola b.
