“The Minstrel Boy” is an Irish song written by Thomas Moore (1779–1852) and published as part of his Irish Melodies. Moore himself came to be nicknamed “The Minstrel Boy”.
This is an extended arrangement for the Concert Band. There are parts for Horns in F and Eb, Euphonium in BC, and TC. Tubas in C, Eb and Bb. There is a descant for Piccolo, Flute, Solo Clarinet, and Trumpet in the last strain.
