Presented by the composer at Elementary through Middle School concerts, it has always been a winner with its ‘tongue-in-cheek’ attitude. When you’re looking forward to personal time away from the classroom, sing about it: We’re gonna pack up our books, skip all the homework, We’re goin’ home for Christmas without you!” -or- ”…We’re leavin’ for vacation without you!” Composer’s Comments and Performance Suggestions for both sets of lyrics.
