Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam – Intermediate Piano Solo
A fun and lively arrangement of the children’s song in a style inspired by ragtime, boogie-woogie, and fast blues. Two verses with an eight-measure interlude featuring a walking bass line that imitates an upright string bass instrument. 3 pages. Approximate performance time: 1:30. Note: This arrangement is different than my student/teacher piano duet and piano/instrumental arrangements of the same song.
Medley option: This piece can be used in combination with “This Little Light of Mine,” which is arranged in a similar style. As indicated in the music, just cut the last two measures of this piece and go right into “This Little Light of Mine.”
