Description
This work, composed for piano and voice by Gabriel Faure, has been adapted for Cello and String Orchestra.
Since it is known that the cello has a frequency close to the human voice, the theme was announced first with Tenor colors and then with Alto colors. Its dynamics are kept high so that it does not get lost in terms of sound color in the string orchestra.
In the string orchestra, the original piano accompaniment was adhered to, but original solos were added in between. These original solos were composed as accompaniment as much as possible to the themes played by the cello.
