Orchestra in the House (Symphonic Groove No.1)

This original work for Full Orchestra is inspired by modern Orchestral Dance Music (or Orchestral EDM) or House Music by groups such as Pete Tong and the Heritage Orchestra, the Kaleidoscope Orchestra, Symphony, The Vitamin String Quartet, as well as Alex Christensen & the Berlin Orchestra.
For those who may not have heard of EDM (or Electronic Dance Music), it is an umbrella term for multiple genres of dance / club music including dance-pop, house, techno and electro, as well as their respective subgenres. Throughout EDM writing history it has not been unusual for artists such as Fat Boy Slim (Right Here, Right Now), The Verve (Bitter Sweet Symphony), Daft Punk (Tron, Legacy), Darude (Sand Storm), Avicii (Wake Me Up) or Swedish House Mafia (Don’t You Worry Child) to incorporate classical instruments such as strings, piano, and brass instruments into their works. The popularity of EDM has increased globally, largely in Europe, the United States and Australia.
