Description
This is an original composition for British Brass Band, based around the spiritual “Joshua fit the Battle of Jericho”.
It is a very funky piece requiring some very laid back playing. The bass line is a ground (ie, it repeats throughout the piece, not always in the basses) and over the top is the improvisatory melodiuc material. The drum kit will need to keep a steady hand on the tiller throughout.
