Description

Fond memories are not limited to something dear and sweet. We also have fond memories of happy past experiences ─ having great times with people we care about, enjoying good food, and exploring beautiful places. With that in mind, Fond Memories for String Quartet begins with a calm tempo, and at measure 19 kicks into a lively party tempo. The melodic material passes between the first and second violins, with viola and cello playing important supporting roles. Information is included to explain how to perform the ornaments occurring in the violin parts.
